Darryl Goode

Owner/USGTF Certified Golf Teaching Professional

My journey with golf began in childhood, introduced by my father. At the time, I couldn’t quite grasp the appeal—too much walking and not enough excitement in chasing a ball across grass. But everything changed in the 1990s when my father reintroduced me to the game. This time, I was hooked. Golf became an obsession, and I dedicated every spare moment to learning, practicing, and improving.

I began competing on a Pro-Net mini tour, and after it dissolved, I transitioned to a larger Pro-Net tour in the Mid-Atlantic region. While competing, I discovered a natural ability to analyze fellow players’ swings and offer guidance. To my surprise, many of those I helped often lead to better tournament results. Encouraged by a friend, I pursued certification and became a USGTF Certified Golf Teaching Professional in 2008.

Today, I’m passionate about helping others understand the core fundamentals of golf - G.A.S. (Grip, Alignment, Stance), ball position, and the science behind the swing. I believe every golfer is unique, and so is their swing. My goal is to help each individual discover their own rhythm and technique to achieve consistent results and enjoy the game to its fullest.
